Moscow time zone in AIX

AIX does not seem to have a pre-defined time zone for Moscow. The closest thing in "smit chtz" is Saudi Arabia, which also corresponds to CUT+3 but isn't exactly indicative. However, nothing is stopping you from naming your own time zone using the TZ variable in /etc/environment. This is my value of TZ for the Moscow time zone:
TZ=MSK-3MSD-4,M3.5.0/02:00:00,M10.5.0/03:00:00
During daylight saving period the "date" command gives:
Thu Oct 4 10:12:55 MSD 2007
And during standard time period:
Sun Oct 28 23:02:32 MSK 2007

Things have improved in AIX 6.1. The "smit chtz" fast path has been replaced with "smit chtz_olson", which lets you choose from an extensive list of countries and cities. In the case of Moscow, the TZ environment variable can now be set to "Europe/Moscow".
